Broken Faith available on Smashwords

After completing the last readthrough to catch the last typos, I placed my sifi novel Broken Faith on Smashwords. It is now approved and on the premier list and should roll out to Amazon and the other sites at the end of the month.

If you wish to download the first 20 percent of the story free or purchase the complete novel click here.

I am still revising my next story using HTRYN processes, and will make it available when completed.

I read an interesting blog link by J A Konrath discussing the Andrew Wylie agency taking steps to look after their authors rights by bypassing the publishers to make the authors previously published books available on the internet.

While the Andrew Wylie agency has included epublishing in its business description, I don’t think it will be more than a hiccup for the publishers. They will change their bid for further ebook rights by favouring the authors with higher royalities.

Either way, the authors are finally getting paid more for their novels and readers have the choice of ebooks or published books.

I think that is a good thing.

I’ve been wondering how the author/agent relationship would develop, given the new realities of publishing and technology. Everybody should fasten their seatbelts–it’s going to be a bumpy night!

    Have fun!
