About Writing

This blog has been running since April, 2009.

It has evolved over time and will continue to evolve as I learn and progress to better and better stories, and study all there is to know in this new world of Indie Publish while the industry grows and stabilizes.

If you need to contact me, please leave a comment here and I will respond. You can just say “email me” if you do not want your comments made public. 🙂

Hey DJ I saw you asking the other day about anything I might have up on Amazon. In a comment on TPV. I have nothing yet. I have some things ready but am waiting until after November to publish. So if you were searching and finding nothing, that’s why.

Waiting is rough but there are some business and debt considerations holding me up.

I’m still very new to this. I started posting to TPV just to practice engaging online. Cuz, you know, I heard social media will make or break you! 🙂

I also enjoy learning about the business side of all of this.

I’ve been making a living doing personal written legal consultations now for a few years and am hoping to break into fiction. We’ll see how it goes.

Good luck with what you are doing, your site and books look great. Anything with a spaceship on the cover, that’s for me. 🙂

Thanks for visiting. Yes, I liked your sense of humour and checked out your blog.
Keep writing, edit, create your covers, blurbs, etc. get others who read in your genre to proof read, then publish. And keep writing. Oh, and commenting on other sites builds links back to your blog and increases awareness to potential readers. 🙂
I think the most important part of indie publishing is building a backlist so readers can find you.
I need to make changes to my older works, such as blurbs and covers, now I am learning how to do them more professionally, but everything takes time away from writing the next story or series.
      Glad you dropped by. 🙂

Hi DJ. Thank you for your kind comments on my blog. Please post pictures of the beanies and beret that you have knitted. I love to see them. I knitted and crocheted when i was in school a few decades ago. Nowadays I quilt but I still tat, especially when i am travelling. I have a tatted doily that is still WIP. Can’t wait to finish it after my quilting projects are done for the year.
